My Lavender Lovelies are possibly my favourite cupcake. They have the most delicate flavour and colour and are a taste of summer.
To achieve the lavender flavour and scent, the milk used is mixed with lavender flowers and left to infuse over night. This creates the most wonderful flavour and gives a beautiful perfume without being too over powering.
To finish the look, the buttercream is mixed with a small amount of lilac colouring to achieve a soft pastel colour.
